WHITETAIL HUNTS
D-Tex Whitetails is the ultimate hunting destination for that true giant mature, South Texas whitetail. D-Tex is both low & high fence, making it the perfect combination for any hunter. There are a variety of ways to hunt here.
This includes hunts out of a tower stand, ground blind, tree stand and or spot & stock. Rates work the following way: A deposit to secure your hunting dates & a trophy rate depending on what your trophy scores. No Daily Fees, no Guide Fees, no Lodging/Food fees. All of our hunts are guided hunts, usually lasting 3 days.
Although our success rate is very high, please keep in mind this is a real hunt, not a guaranteed one. *If a wounded animal can not be found, full price of the trophy fee & daily fee will still be applied. For an animal that has been harvest, full balance is due after measuring your trophy. When you arrive at San Antonio International Airport, we will be waiting there to pick you up. D-Tex Whitetails is about 1 hour from the airport.
Tentative Hunt Schedule:
3 day / 2 night
DAY 1
- Arrive around Noon
- Tour of the lodge, get unpacked & head to the shooting range
- 1st hunt session: leave 3;15pm, come back at dark
- Dinners around 7:00pm
- *Free Thermal Hog hunt available if interested
DAY 2
- Coffee & Pastries 5:00am
- 2nd hunt session: Leave at 5:30am
- Breakfast around 10:30 am
- Between 10:30 and 2:00 pm we will spot and stock, glass for deer, hang around the ranch (take a nap, go fishing, go ride around the ranch, shoot at the range etc...)
- Lunch around 1:00 pm
- 3rd hunt session: leave 3:15 pm, come back at dark
- Dinner around 7:30 pm (Hang around the fire, have a few drinks, go to bed)
- *Free Thermal Hog & Predator hunt available if interested
DAY 3
- Coffee and Pastries at 5:00am
- 4th hunt session: leave at 5:30am
- Breakfast around 10:30 am
- Leave for airport
